VISION
A South African education system in which every learner develops the full breadth of skills needed to participate meaningfully in society and the economy, supported by teachers who are equipped, empowered, and recognized as central agents of educational transformation.
MISSION
The Classroom Innovation Collective advances the integration of 21st-century competencies into South African classrooms by:
strengthening teacher professional capacity through high-quality, practice-based development; promoting learner-centered pedagogical approaches grounded in critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial competencies; fostering networks of educators committed to innovative practice; and supporting evidence-informed strategies that contribute to sustainable and equitable improvements in teaching and learning.
We believe in the power of community and upskilling. Our mission is to equip South African teachers with skills in innovation, digital pedgagoy and context-informed teaching skills.
